Seattle Sonics

This is really where it all began. In 2005, still gainfully employed by the NBA’s Seattle Supersonics, I bothered people at the team enough to be part of the newly launching official team magazine, Soniczone. I jumped in both feet first, involving myself in early planning meetings, helping set the magazine’s vision and tone, and creating and writing front-of-the-book sections. But my largest contribution was the feature I wrote chronicling the 40-year history of the Sonics in an offbeat way by recalling 40 moments big and small that left the biggest mark on fans. As well as writing Soniczone Magazine’s central feature, I also edited the front of the book and created original content stat geeks and trivia buffs would love. Here are a couple examples from a few issues.
